Foundations for construction safety leadership

Foundations for Construction Safety Leadership (FCSL) teaches students the critical leadership skills to grow into a safety leader who creates and sustains safe and productive jobsites.

The FCSL module was developed by an experienced team that included OSHA 10 and 30-hour outreach trainers, construction workers, safety and health professionals from the construction industry and safety, health, and leadership experts.

  1. Explain why safety leadership is important
  2. Describe 5 critical safety leadership skills
  3. Discuss how an effective leader can apply those skills on the jobsite
