Students will learn about the regulations, safety guidelines and procedures needed to recognize the hazards of the use of frame, rolling towers, tube & clamp, and system scaffolding. Users will also learn the procedures to control or eliminate these hazards.
Students who successfully pass the exam at the end of the class will receive their OSHA Certified Builder certificate within 10 days.

This course is intended for any tradespeople or general site workers that will be using or working with the scaffold.
Note that this course does NOT provide the training for employees tasked with any kind of erecting, disassembling, moving, operating, repairing or otherwise maintaining scaffolding equipment. In order to meet OSHA regulations for those tasks, they will need to register for Scaffold Training: Competent Person.
Satisfactory completion of the course objectives will assist students in satisfying the OSHA training requirements as defined in 29CFR 1926.454: "The employer shall have each employee who performs work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards."
At the end of the course, students will have an open book exam. Once students have passed the test, they will receive both OSHA Scaffold User and Builder certificates within 10 days.
